Organo-Mineral Interactions Involved in Herbicide Sorption on Soil Amended with Peats of Different Maturity Degree

چکیده

The sorption of three herbicides (alachlor, atrazine and linuron) on samples from six peats progressive degree maturity (fibric, hemic or sapric types) soil (dryland agricultural Calcic Luvisol amended with the peats) was determined. extent examined in terms peat (up to 220 analytical descriptors material). In most cases, a enhancement effect observed peat–soil system compared sum alone, i.e., positive interaction leading an increase matrix reactive sites. characteristics humic bitumen subfractions were useful forecasting performance. This case for high molecular weight hydrophobic fractions, alkyl domain substances oxygen-containing groups. Correspondence analysis illustrated how different played distinct role herbicide–peat soil–peat–herbicide system. former system, there relevant bearing parameters indicating low maturity, whereas second mainly explained by colloidal properties, including concentration base saturation functional

Influence of Herbicide Triasulfuron on Soil Microbial Community in an Unamended Soil and a Soil Amended with Organic Residues

The effect of organic amendments and pesticides on a soil microbial community has garnered considerable interest due to the involvement of microorganisms in numerous soil conservation and maintenance reactions. The aim of this work was to assess the influence on a soil microbial community of the simultaneous application of the herbicide triasulfuron at three doses (2, 10, and 50 mg kg-1), with ...

Corrigendum: Organo-mineral interactions in contrasting soils under natural vegetation

Eg 1: The sodium pyrophosphate (Na-pyro) extractable data (highlighted) in Table 3 are wrong as published. The correct version of the table is given below. The error occurred in the revision phase of the manuscript (the table was correct in the first version) when the acid oxalate data were copied twice. We apologize for the mistake. The description in the manuscript is based on the correct dat...

Sorption, degradation and leaching of pesticides in soils amended with organic matter: A review

The use of pesticides in modern agriculture is unavoidable because they are required to control weeds. Pesticides are poisonous; hence, they are dangerous if misused. Understanding the fate of pesticides will be useful to use them safely. Therefore, contaminations of water and soil resources could be avoided. The fates of pesticides in soils are influenced by their sorption, decomposition and m...

Organo-Mineral–Enzyme Interaction and Soil Enzyme Activity

Both microbially produced enzymes and mineral surfaces can be considered catalysts of chemical transformation in soils and other geological environments such as sediments and subsurface aquifers. While both are important direct agents of organic matter (OM) remineralization and transformation, mineral surfaces can also act as “heterogeneous co-catalysts,” influencing the kinetic properties of b...
